Who is this for?
The conference is open to anyone who has completed a basic Focusing course and to anyone who is interested in Focusing with Children.
We welcome parents, grandparents, teachers, group leaders, nurses, child-psychotherapists, foster carers, social care workers, social workers and anyone who cares for a child.
The conference programme will include presentation, study groups, experiential sessions, home groups and more. We look forward to sharing experiences on how to introduce ‘Children Focusing’ to institutions such as schools, pre-schools, social services, voluntary organisations and, of course, in parenting. We would like to enable participants from all over the world, with both professional and personal interest in ‘Children Focusing’, to benefit from each other’s experience. The conference will also have social events and we hope that friends, co-workers, colleagues and indeed all participants will enjoy the time spent together.
See Conference Programme for further details.

Topics include:
- How can parents experience the power of listening for themselves and their children?
- How can teachers, child care workers, social workers, or therapists work in a way where they are ‘listening and following’ the child in their care?
- How can everyone listen to their own felt sense of the whole situation while working with children?
- How can we care for ourselves while caring for our children?
